We're Jamie and Sydney, Owners of Cape Charles Escapes.
Jamie (left) is the Owner of Be Still Getaways, a boutique short-term rental and design management company in Central Virginia. Sydney (right) is a licensed realtor in Charlottesville, VA, with a niche in short-term rental investment properties. Together, we created a one-stop shop short-term rental company, Carriage House STR, in 2021. We both have a love for real estate and The Eastern Shore, so when the opportunity to purchase Cape Charles Escapes fell in our laps, we jumped at the opportunity to expand our portfolio in Cape Charles.

Hi, I'm Kala! I am a wife and a mom of 2 littles living in Chesapeake, Virginia. I work alongside Jamie for Be Still Getaways managing our Cape Charles properties! I grew up in a small town in the valley but love living at the beach now, and have found that Cape Charles is the best of both worlds! If you need a quiet, low key vacation, Cape Charles is the place for you! I would love to ensure a restful getaway for you and your family on the Eastern Shore.
